Update on Tanzania girls project

A friend of mine recently got back from her SIHA trip to Tanzania, Africa, where she was involved in AIDs and malaria education.  She also had the chance to distribute the handsewn menstrual pads (more on that here) to girls in the villages that they visited.  The pictures here are ones that she took of some of the girls that they met, and the instructions that they handed out along with the pads.  Click on any image to see a larger version.

If you have questions about her trip or our project, let me know!

  1. Hi Sarah!
I also am a member of SIHA this year and I’ll be going to Tanzania, too!

This is such a great idea, but for some reason this is the first that I’ve heard of it. If you would email me the name of your friend, I’m sure I can get in touch with her since last year’s team is our executive this year. Maybe we can do this again.
